CPCS Plant

The Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) is a card scheme to prove the skills of plant operators.

Prior to being registered for a test, candidates must pass a Health and Safety Touch Screen test.

Candidates will be required to complete a Theory Assessment per category, sample question can be found at www.cskills.org/centreandschool/cpcs It is recommended that these questions are viewed, as the Practical Assessment cannot be taken before successful completion of the theory assessment.

Each theory assessment is 1 hour 15 minutes, practical assessments last between 1 hour 15 minutes and 3 hours 15 minutes. Both assessments may be recorded for quality assurance purposes.
