Working at Height
PASMA
Upon completion attendees will understand all legislation, health and safety and
hazard issues. Attendees will be able to safely and legally erect, reposition and
dismantle a tower in compliance with manufacturers guidelines.
Scaffold Safety Awareness
This course is designed for all personnel responsible for scaffold safety on site.
The course aims to make site personnel aware of the correct safety procedures to
be adopted when accessing and working from scaffolds, mobile towers and stagings.
Scaffold Inspection
Upon completion of this course, delegates will have an understanding of scaffolding
components, forms of construction and inspection procedures of basic access scaffolds,
to comply with current legislation and codes of practice. Falling from height is
the single biggest killer of workers in the UK across all industry sectors, and
consequently resulted in the long awaited introduction of the Work at Height Regulations
in April 2005 Working at Height.
Harness Safety and Inspection
Aimed at personnel who as part of their operational duties, must carry out or supervise
any projects when working at height may involve the use of harnesses.
Safe Use of Ladders
The aim of this course is to train delegates in the skills and knowledge needed
to achieve the standards of competency to carry out the duties of pre-use inspection
and the safe use of ladders and stepladders.
MEWP – Scissor and Boom
This course is designed for delegates to understand the engineering principles and
safe operational practice of MEWPS. To acquire the skills and knowledge to operate
MEWPS, safely and efficiently.
